South Asian Institute of Policy and Governance (SIPG) of North South University, is a research and educational institute with a regional focus in South Asia. The Institute started its journey in 2008 as a Public Policy and Governance Program (PPG) at North South University to impart knowledge in the broader field of policy, governance, and public administration. In 2018, after a decade, the PPG program upgraded to a full-fledged Institute to facilitate the academic program, regional research on various issues related to policy regimes, governance challenges, and discourses in the context of South Asia. The Institute initiates research, publications, policy briefs, certificate courses, seminars, webinars, international conferences, training, and research programs intending to strengthen and broaden the intellectual capacity of South Asia and regional countries at the policy stage. SIPG is now offering a Master in Public Policy and Governance (MPPG), a 2-year program, and an Executive Masters in Policy and Governance (EMPG), a 1-year program. The masters' programs offered aim to enhance the capacity for young professionals on public policy and governance.
