The Chesterbrook Elementary School Parents Teachers Association is a local unit PTA and part of the Virginia Congress of PTAs and the National PTA. It is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. Chesterbrook PTA has approximately 600 dues-paying members. It is entirely operated by volunteers. Our income is derived mostly from dues and donations. Our expenditures go towards supporting the students, families, and teachers of the Chesterbrook ES community. Cultural arts events, after-school activities, staff development, parent/speaker programs, classroom materials, and social events comprise the bulk of our expenses.
