Sustainable Seas Trust (SST) is a charitable, not-for-profit, public benefit institution dedicated to sustainable living with a view to improving the quality of life for impoverished coastal communities. It operates exclusively for charitable, socioeconomic, scientific, educational and philanthropic purposes by building capacity and supporting projects that will improve the scientific and economic foundation for sustainable management of the environment. Its anchor projects are SEA Pledge and SEAS Centres, which are committed to encouraging people to commit to improving the manner in which they care for the the environment and to pledge to help others live in a more sustainable way.
