Artist & Photographer Philippe Benichou
www.quantumdesignconnection.comI make art out of your favorite photos! For the past 15 years, I have specialized in AquaDigiGraphy. In a nutshell, I make fine art out of people's favorite photos. I use photography as a starting point to draw and create original portraits, landscapes, wedding art, animals and still-life in a variety of styles and compositions. It is unique to this process. AquaDigiGraphy combines watercolour (Aqua), digital art (Digital), and photography (Graphy). Pencils, watercolours & pastels. Oils & acrylics. Photography & Digital Art. I start by scanning your photo and then print it on fine art paper. I then draw and use watercolour and Japanese inks on the paper and then rescan. This process has many stages to arrive at a finished artwork. The final art piece is a digital file. You or your printer download the file. It can be printed on fine art paper, canvas or other media such as aluminum or plexiglass. I create compositions based on a style you favor from samples or I simply follow my inspiration. The sizes of the final print may vary depending on where the art will be displayed. It can be as small as an 4x6 Inch (10x15 Centimeter) or as large as 40x60 Inch (100x150 Centimeter) or even bigger. They can be square, rectangular or anything in between. All artworks are made to order.
