Carter Asset Management is a fee-only personal financial planning and fee-only investment management firm established in 1997. We are a Registered Investment Adviser with the SEC. We serve a broad national client base with several international clients as well. We do not sell securities or financial products of any kind, nor do we receive referral fees or other forms of third party compensation. Our firm emerged out of accounting, financial planning, and investment advisory services that have been provided to clients since 1983. We offer personal financial planning services that include estate planning, retirement preparation planning, investment advisory services, tax planning, risk management planning, and cash management. Helping clients achieve maximum utilization of their financial resources is our primary focus. Investment management services are an outgrowth of financial planning efforts and are designed to meet specific client objectives. Our firm is co-located with the public accounting firm of Carter & Beard, P.C. that provides tax and accounting services to many of our clients.
