Four Leopards Consulting exists to help software companies be successful in their business, helping them get to revenue and their products and services to market. We focus on four pillars needed to make a software product or service important; - the frameworks and infrastructure for running the platform, - the processes needed for continuous delivery and quality assurance, - processes, tooling and reporting for different facets of business, and - mentoring and coaching for technical teams and leads. I was retrenched from my previous job while vacationing in the Kruger National Park, and while there we saw leopards during each of the four visits, something that is normally a very rare site. Given that this led to an opportunity for me to start consulting sooner than I had planned, and looking at the significance of the number four (completeness and perfection) and what makes leopards unique (powerful, agile, solitary), it aligned so well with what I wanted this company to be, that the name seemed fated to be.
