CRI's purpose is to inspire self-discovery through sport, fitness, wellness and adventure. With a multitude of facilities and programs, we aim to promote and develop healthy life-style choices. The Recreation Activity Center (RAC), located on Georgia Southern's Statesboro campus, offers indoor and outdoor venues with a full-service gym, wellness center, natatorium, 45' rock climbing wall, indoor soccer courts, outdoor pool and whirlpool, sand volleyball courts, and multiplex fields. The Shooting Sports Education Center and Golf Course at University Park are also located in Statesboro and are both open to the public. On Georgia Southern's Savannah Campus is the Student Recreation Center (SRC). The SRC is a 38,000 square foot facility and offers a multipurpose fitness room, 2 athletic courts, and a massive fitness center. Our 8 different programs include aquatics, club sports, fitness, golf, informal recreation, intramural sports, the Shooting Sports Education Center, and Southern Adventures. Our programming is all-encompassing and includes programs and events such as Discover SCUBA, swim lessons, personal and small group training, 50+ group fitness classes each week, firearm and archery events, rock climbing clinics, and many more!
