According to the latest WEBarometer (December 2020), a survey of female-founded businesses in the EU, 67% of respondents had an annual revenue of less than €100,000, while a total of 93% had an annual revenue less than €1 million. The vast majority of female-founded businesses never hit the €1m mark. They grow slow or don't grow at all. They stay small in terms of size and team. They receive a mere 2% of venture funding. Not because they lack the vision, ambition or talent to build a successful business.
