Established in Guangzhou back in 2009, The Happy Monk is a cool, yet welcoming and inclusive London-style cocktail bar & restaurant brand serving an extensive range of drinks and a full food menu. Each of our 5 downtown locations has its own “look and feel” – while at the same time maintaining a common Happy Monk identity. Our designs are all original and cool, yet unpretentious, utilising simple and classic materials including copper, wood panelling, stone, concrete and leather. 4 of our locations have large open outdoor areas, which prove particularly popular in Guangzhou. We strive to create a happy, authentic and lively environment for our many customers, who hail from all walks of life in China and around the world.
