The Macpherson companies are family owned and operated. Macpherson Energy Corporation holds the vast majority of ownership in Macpherson Oil Company and Macpherson Power Company. Macpherson Oil Company's operations, partnerships and joint ventures are involved in domestic U.S. oil and gas operations that include more than 250 wells. All of Macpherson Oil Company's operations are conducted onshore; the company does not conduct any offshore operations. The Macpherson Power Company/Macpherson Green Power cogeneration plant produces electricity; it is being converted to deliver 44 megawatts of clean power exclusively from renewable biomass fuel.
