The Norwegian-American Defense Industry/Homeland Security Council (NADIC) is a trade association established to develop and promote the business and commercial interests of the Norwegian/American defense and homeland security industries within the United States, and to ensure a “fair” competitive environment in U.S. markets for our membership. Goals To help resolve problems and disputes that may affect or limit access to the U.S. military market. To ensure that U.S. government officials are informed of the unique capabilities of the Norwegian defense and security business community. To promote and develop awareness of the mutual defense and security policies consistent with strategic objects of the US and Norway, strengthening historic ties between the two nations. To promote and develop defense and security policies favorable to Norwegian interests with the U.S. Congress and the executive branch of the U.S. Government. To provide its membership with educational services and related support for “doing business” in the United States. Membership NADIC membership is open to U.S. and Norwegian companies with manufacturing operations and supporting services in Norway and individuals with an interest in strengthening ties between military organizations and other groups in the United States and the companies that comprise the Norwegian defense and security industrial base.
