Its main objective is the application of technological solutions to actual clinical or biological problems, especially with the aim of early diagnosis. This has lead to research in developing new medical image acquisition and analysis techniques. This objective includes: - Research on biomedical image acquisition, processing and analysis techniques. - Teaching and training of doctorate and graduate students. - Cooperation with hospitals and research centers that can use the techniques developed.
