Be.artsy offers unique, high-impact awareness programs since 2010. These are edutainment programs using arts: online (webinars/digital content) & offline solutions including short movies and street theatre, which engage and involve the audience actively. The nukkad natak is the flagship on-ground medium used by Be.artsy to decode complex topics for people at workplaces. The Natak can be seen by about 200-300 people in each performance, reaching about 1500 people in just one day. Be.artsy employs over 800 local youth all-India, who are trained for skills in street theatre. From 2011, Be.artsy conducted programs on financial literacy, covering middle and lower economic strata, salaried people, schools and colleges. One of Be.artsy’s programs is developed along with the National Stock Exchange. About 600 sessions have been conducted in six states and five languages, covering 1,20,000 people. Awareness about cashless transactions and safe investment avenues increased from 35% to 80% (pre- and post-survey data). Program ratings average between 3.7 to 4.6 on a scale of 1 to 5. Be.artsy has done 80 sessions for awareness of prevention and redressal of sexual harassment against women in four states and nine languages, covering 25,000 people. Before the awareness programs, most people were not aware of what constitutes sexual harassment and whom and how to approach for redressal. Awareness increased from 16% to 64% (pre- and post-survey data). Program ratings average between 4.1 to 4.8 on a scale of 1 to 5. Be.artsy has conducted road safety programs from 2011, through 50 sessions for awareness and accident prevention in three states, in Hindi, English, and Marathi, covering 20,000 people. Awareness of causes and prevention rose from 21% to 82% (pre- and post-survey data). Program ratings average between 3.7 to 4.4 on a scale of 1 to 5. Be.artsy has successfully built a strong reputation with companies like PepsiCo India, American Express, Air India, Asian Paints, NSE.
