Company activity & sourcing : Societé Nouvelle Interplume is situated in the western part of France, one of France most important duck breeding areas. We process and transform raw feathers into quality feather & down. Our activity is strictly regulated and monitored by the French Ministry of Agriculture and veterinary services, as demanded by EU law, and our processes conform to European Standards & Regulations. We source our feathers from the largest duck processing plants. Our suppliers, operating under the same strict law & regulations, are exactingly selected and monitored in order to ensure the highest quality of raw material. In fact, it’s at our suppliers’ plants that our process begins... Procurement & Process : Our suppliers are situated within a short driving distance from our site, thus enabling us to fully process the feathers in an optimized Lead Time. This is essential to achieve the very highest quality. As soon as received at our plant, the feathers are washed and sanitized. Thenceforth they are sorted and treated according to customers’ specifications. Our goal is to achieve an indisputable quality for each of our products. We supply the bedding, upholstery and clothing sectors. Target product : We propose a fully comprehensive range of feather and down products, from the finest EN 100 (91% down cluster) to feathers and everything in between.
