Safe/Sea is a marine assistance company based in Rhode Island. We provide boat towing, salvage and general assistance to recreational boaters in all Rhode Island waters, including Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island Sound, and Block Island Sound, up to 25 nautical miles south of Block Island. We operate a fleet of six specially designed and custom built rescue towboats that are ready to respond to calls for assistance 24 hours a day. During the summer boating season, we base our vessels in Wickford, Point Judith, and Block Island. Safe/Sea is the official and exclusive provider of on-the-water towing and assistance services for TowBoatU.S. members in the Rhode Island area.
