Project Sustainability is an effort to improve environmental literacy with students in Art classrooms using interactive green walls. In partnership with LEAP, bringing green walls to the classroom is done through donations from LEAP, fundraising, grants, and sponsorships. The purpose of using indoor green walls in the classroom is to inspire future change-agents in sustainability. Combining art with interactive green walls allows for students to learn how 'living art' can be used to improve indoor air quality, enhance social and environmental well-being, and be used as a communication public art tool promoting environmental and social sensitivity.
