PharmaS is a privately-owned pharmaceutical company engaged in the manufacture and sale of drugs established in 2009. The company manufactures and distributes high-quality generic drugs, and since mid-2013 it has been operating within the Consumer Healthcare segment as well. PharmaS is open for cooperation with various pharmaceutical companies, both innovative and generic, in regard to manufacture or sale of drugs. The company is currently active in six countries of the South-East European region, namely Croatia, Serbia, Kosovo, Macedonia and Albania, and plans to expand its business to Central and Eastern European and CIS in the years to come. The companies are regularly supplied with drugs from two modern pharmaceutical factories, both with a capacity exceeding 30 million packages per year. The Croatian factory, located in Popovača, was opened in 2011, while the factory located in Zrenjanin, Serbia, was put in operation at the end of 2012. The company’s production, storage, distribution and drug quality control processes meet the strictest EU standards set for the pharmaceutical industry. PharmaS applies the best pharmaceutical practices, all procedures meet the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards, and has held an ISO 21000:2005 certificate as of this year, which it uses to meet the HACCP standard as this is very important with respect to food supplement production. The company regularly receives the highest ratings after undergoing audits by regulatory authorities, and the quality level it ensures is evident from the fact that it is the first Croatian pharmaceutical company that has been inspected under TAIEX, an EU program, and was awarded with excellent ratings. PharmaS currently employs almost 200 experts and, considering the company's ongoing expansion, this number is continuously increasing.
