WebStudy Foundation
www.webstudyfoundation.orgWebStudy Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit committed to helping colleges tackle their most pressing challenges to achieve informed decision making. WebStudy Foundation facilitates meaningful organizational change through the science of collaborative decision-making. Founder, Gisele Larose remarks "I wanted our system of higher education to have the same opportunity that organizations like large NGO’s and corporations have benefited from for 25 years to conduct group problem solving of astoundingly wicked problems." Colleges have been historically time-bound, when it comes to navigating change. No one predicted the rapid acceleration in change that the pandemic would cause. Rising cost, declining funding, a shift in accreditation focus on performance, and declining public opinion appear difficult but solvable, compared to building a sustainable digital strategy in one academic year to fulfill on remote learning. The desired outcome is for colleges and universities to adapt to BIG change expeditiously and effectively. Breakdowns in communication are inherent in any large system. We recruited a team of higher education consultants and organizational development facilitators to impact change. We facilitate virtual events where all stakeholders inquire and collectively discover how to create a shift in organizational performance. As a non-profit organization, ready to serve higher education communities Beyond 2021, we will offset the cost of doing so with philanthropic contributions. Our approach is unique in that every voice is heard and the entire audience knows what the entire group thinks (in real time). Through networked technology, the virtual meeting uses a series of feedback cycles to learn what the audience is thinking, whether the size of the audience is 25, 500, 5000 or 100,000. Problem solving becomes inclusive with audience input - instantaneously given back to the entire audience and the presenter at the same time. All stakeholders are engaged
