Wild Geese is a brand-new theatre company with old roots. With over 15 years experience creating immersive, exciting and enriching theatre for children around the world, our mission is and always has been to bring inspirational work to young people. Our founders, Andrew, Emily and Lyle, are the core of the Young Shakespeare Company’s production team - a company who, for thirty years, have created theatre for young audiences that inspires children to engage imaginatively with the world of Shakespeare's plays. Now, the Wild Geese are flying the nest. We make shows that are active, immersive and inspiring. We put inclusion and participation at the heart of everything we do. Simply put, our audiences are not watching a play - they are in one. Our aims are to create a new theatre model for festivals across the nation; to provide a different experience for young people that will encourage them to use their creative skills; and to bring to life extraordinary characters from history.
