The Disability Law Service began in 1975 as a volunteer organisation and is now a professional organisation, still run by disabled people. Our mission is to provide information, advice and assistance to those with disabilities and their carers. We are a charity and rely upon donations and the limited funding that we receive from third parties. Currently we have a Legal Aid Contact and well as other funders to assist us to provide advice and representation. The Disability Law Service provides representation to in the areas of Community Care Law and Employment Law. We also provide advice in a number of areas of law.
