My art is a translation of my sensory experience. I am highly attentive to subtle information, and although the connections I form are often vague inferences they slowly take shape and often reveal meaning that eludes consciousness. Having a trigger-sensitive nervous system consumes me at times and I have found drawing to be pleasure-rich channel for my mental energy. My hope is that the viewer can find their own sense of connection and meaning. I often work on my art from many different angles and sides and I find that people often enjoy changing the orientation. I have always had a love affair with color, and have explored ways to express my experience of the meaning colors convey. I love hearing about what others perceive when they look at my art.
