The International Diplomatic Institute is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) established in 1994. It is a moral, private, independent, non-denominational, non-party organization, which pursues only socially useful purposes. The International Diplomatic Institute aims to: • contribute to the human, social, cultural, technical and economic development of the most disadvantaged areas by following the principles of co-responsibility, interdependence and non-violence - with particular attention to the promotion of gender equality; • contribute to the removal of economic, political and social obstacles that actually limit the development of the most disadvantaged sectors of the world's populations; • promote - both locally and internationally - a type of development compatible with the planet's environmental resources and limits, with particular attention to the application of appropriate technologies and energy from renewable sources, to the lifestyles and consumption; • build international relations between different people and cultures, through the principles of cooperation and solidarity.
