AFRO SCIENCE FOUNDATION is a Continental, Non-Governmental Research Organization, whose role is to gather the theoretical analysis of African ancestors in the area of interpreting the working principles of Nature in the different tribes of Africa, evaluating them, and using our scientific orientation to enable its advancement. With the aim of developing a Foundation for Africa’s Technology, that will help to tackle the challenges of Africa’s dependence on foreign supply of goods and services, unemployment and economic decadence. Which is a state of affairs perceived to be caused by the system of Science Education; studying science with colonial languages, which results in a below average level of comprehension in comparison with the students of developed nations who study science in their indigenous languages. On this premise, a group of patriotic African scholars from the science, engineering and linguistic field, gathered at the University of Uyo in February 21st 2014 and agreed to form a research group that will excavate the scientific wisdom of African ancestors and build on it to develop a module for studying sciences with the indigenous languages across Africa. The Research foundation was officially inaugurated at the institution’s headquarters in Abak L.G.A, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. On the 29th of March 2018, by Professor Eno-Abasi Urua of the University of Uyo, and dedicated to GOD by Apostle Dr. John Okoriko of Solid Rock Kingdom.
