We are the Shippensburg University Foundation. We serve a university that is launching students toward achieving the American dream. We help make it possible for “Ship” to offer an outstanding education that’s still within reach. We help “Ship” educate bold thinkers, women and men who blaze new trails in business, science, education, and the humanities. We help Ship exceed expectations. We go beyond what tuition and state funding can provide. Through you, we advance the University mission. We provide essential support so Ship can open its doors to more students, broaden its academic programming, expand critical research, and engage the region in powerful new partnerships. We help Ship students exceed expectations. Through you, we help more bright, hard-working women and men – more than one-third of whom are the first in their family to attend college – to enroll at Ship. We help our University provide these students with the broad and deep liberal arts and sciences education, anchored by practical application, that prepares them to succeed and lead in today’s economy, and to solve the world’s toughest problems. We help our region exceed expectations. Through you, we help Ship to serve as an economic engine for our region. We back our University as it collaborates with major area employers to offer new academic programs, such as electrical engineering and international studies, that will graduate the well-educated professionals these companies need. We help make it possible for Ship to focus on entrepreneurship and innovation so today’s students will inspire tomorrow’s regional economy.
