The WTAMU professional Development group is a division of the Extended Studies department and focuses on creating high quality training programs for businesses in the Amarillo TX area. We offer three types of programs: 1. Contract Training: A fully customized training solution performed onsite at the client company, that is built around a specific companies needs analysis and which accomplished the learning objectives deemed most important by the companies leadership. 2. Essential Business Skills: An in-person group training experience where subject matter experts lead interactive & technology rich discussions about specific business topics. Topics are determined by community demand, current trends and available expertise. 3. Online on Demand courses. We offer 100+ online training programs with a wide variety of subjects for a wide audience of learners. Some examples of the types of programs we offer online are: Professional designations & certifications, Real Estate Licensing, Continuing Education Units, Graduate school test preparation, Paralegal studies, MyCAA grant eligible courses, Data Privacy & Security, HIPAA compliance, Multiple Management courses, and more.
