Breckenholme Trading Company was founded in 2007 with the goal to cold press oilseed rape for the food industry. The company was first created with a view to diversify from our farming roots and bring value to a crop already grown on our family farm. Now over 10 years later we cold press rapeseed for use not only within our own brands but for many other independent brands too. The company has also grown to accommodate further food manufacturing needs using cold pressed rapeseed oil and also offers a product development service for brands to use. We also produce and run our own award winning consumer facing brands Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil (est. 2008) and Charlie & Ivy's (est.2014) alongside our Breckenholme Food Service product range. Our ties with farming are still strong and this link motivates us to innovate within our area, constantly looking at different ways we can build on our British food and farming roots. Breckenholme is a business with ambitions for an environmentally ethical and sustainable future. We are proud to champion low food miles, local produce and chemical free production.
