Avant Skills Academy is a proactive, passionate and committed training provider delivering Apprenticeships, Traineeships and supporting adults into work across North East Lincolnshire. Our recent Ofsted inspection, undertaken in April 2016, maintained our ‘Good’ grade. Ofsted highlighted that learners, apprentices and trainees continued to receive good education and training and the introduction of traineeships and other courses to help get young people ready for an apprenticeship is effective. They also observed learners, apprentices and trainees making good progress in developing their mathematics and English skills. They identified the proportion who achieve qualifications, from very low starting points, is impressive. Our success rates are exceptional, which is a result of the commitment of staff and the support of the employers we work with. We work with businesses of all sizes to analyse training needs, identify relevant Apprenticeships or Traineeships and the best way of providing the training. “Avant is flexible in its approach to the needs of learners and employers. Employers particularly appreciate the supportive approach and the successful interventions used to improve punctuality and workplace behaviours.
