Kudaka Investigations is a woman-owned, full-service, licensed and insured private investigation firm based out of Orange County, CA. We are dedicated professionals committed to providing a comprehensive investigative support to all of our clients in the corporate, government and private sectors throughout the state of California. The founder and owner Maki Kudaka, CPI (Certified Professional Investigator), is a licensed female private investigator who has an extensive background in the private investigation and legal industry. Previously, Ms Kudaka was the Vice President of a large private investigations firm based out of San Diego, CA. She directed and managed all Surveillance, Background and Locate Investigation cases, as well as the office staff, field investigators and sub-contractors. Prior to her career as a Private Investigator, Ms. Kudaka worked as a Certified Paralegal where she gained the knowledge and experience as an extensive legal researcher. Being a part of a prestigious law firm in Newport Beach, she worked closely with senior partners and associate attorneys. Ms. Kudaka graduated with honors from the University of Southern California with a BA in Political Science, and a Minor in East Asian Studies. Ms. Kudaka was elected as CALI's VP of Administrative Services (CA Association of Licensed Investigators) in 2016. Ms. Kudaka oversees all 14 Districts, providing training for all 28 District Leaders. In addition to her involvement of seven committees within the organization, she is dedicated to mentor and assist all members - particularly the newly licensed PIs and prospective PIs. Ms. Kudaka received her designation as a CPI (Certified Professional Investigator) in 2016; awarded the President's Award in 2017, and received the Governor of the Year award in 2015 for her outstanding commitment to the Board of Directors and dedication of serving the CALI Membership and the Profession.
