IOLINA

www.iolina.com

I O L I N A is a line of elegant contemporary jewelry featuring minimal fluid forms in silver, gold, brass & bronze. An ode to ancient treasure with a nod to modern design, each piece is made with movement & balance in mind. Nina Fagiola independently designs & produces each piece of IOLINA jewelry in her sunny studio on the North Shore of Long Island. She was introduced to traditional jewelry making techniques [metal smithing & lost wax casting] in a high school art elective and later trained at Studio Jewelers in NYC and Sterling Quest in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. In 2019, after a decade of city living and a career as a middle school art teacher, Nina switched gears to launch IOLINA. Still active in art education, Nina is an Adjunct Professor at LIU Post and a Teaching Artist with Creative Arts & Music Programs of Williamsburg in Brooklyn. Please contact iolinajewelry@iolina.com to inquire about art instruction or to make a private shopping appointment at The IOLINA Studio. STUDIO NOTES: Made with movement & balance in mind, the dynamic harmony found in my work is about relationships - among forces, elements and objects in the world around us; between human beings & the myriad, ever-changing landscapes of that world; between the earthly & ethereal elements that make us human. An ode to ancient treasure with a nod to modern design, I aim to create versatile adornment that transcends time. - Nina
