Our mission is "to build healing relationships empowering children and families to reach their full potential". Founded in 1903, Klingberg Family Centers is a private, nonprofit organization serving children and families through an array of treatment services. We serve more than a thousand persons each year from throughout Connecticut, with the largest concentration from the Greater Hartford area. Our programs are designed to serve children and families whose lives have been affected by abuse in its various forms, severe family problems, abandonment and emotional/behavioral problems. Whenever possible, we strive to work with the entire family in an effort to address the issues that may be keeping them from providing their children with a safe, nurturing home environment.
