A detachment of the U.S. Air National Guard Readiness Center, TEC is located at McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base near Knoxville, Tennessee. The center conducts an average of 16 Enlisted Professional Military Education courses (Air Force NCO Academy & Airman Leadership School) and 40 Professional Continuing Education classes and workshops throughout the year. Typically, it accommodates 11,000 service members on campus annually from the Department of Defense and partner nation armed forces. TEC manages the ANG's Warrior Network; a $7 million satellite broadcast enterprise with more than 186 downlink sites, providing training and education, and command information nationwide. The television studios and multimedia facilities support video productions, senior leader conferences, and general-to-career field-specific training.
