The Toronto Workforce Innovation Group examines data, synthesizes research, and seeks input from practitioners and policymakers to strengthen our workforce development system OUR MISSION To be both a leader and collaborative partner in developing, piloting, delivering and evaluating innovative workforce development strategies and solutions in Toronto. OUR MANDATE To work with stakeholders to enhance Toronto’s competitive workforce. We achieve our mandate by: •Researching, analyzing and reporting on workforce development trends, gaps and opportunities in Toronto. •Acting as a resource to inform our stakeholders (community groups, educators and trainers, employers, governments, labour groups and media) about Toronto’s workforce development issues.
