Working to deliver 10 million hours of food education in support of improved food security. We are determined to educate and empower people to live food secure lives and we do everything we can towards that end. We believe that hunger should not be a barrier to learning and our founding programme, Rethink Food Education, provides schools with a weekly delivery of food alongside an innovative and engaging educational programme.  To remove the stigma often associated with food insecurity we focus on the environmental aspects of food and we believe that in tackling hunger and food insecurity we can also work to achieve the UN’s 17 Sustainable development goals. These goals are an urgent call for action by all countries to work in global partnership to end poverty and other deprivations by improving health and education, reducing inequality, preventing obesity and spurring economic growth whilst tackling the huge environmental concerns of tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests. Our Rethink Food Futures programme introduces soil free, aeroponic growing into classrooms, businesses and organisations. Participants begin their journey as a scientist, before becoming a farmer, chef and most importantly a consumer of the fresh, home grown produce. From seed to salad in 60 days. In working to achieve a fair and sustainable food system, our Rethink Food Lifestyles programme provides interactive workshops that introduce the Sustainable Development Goals. Our surplus food collections provide improved access to food for individuals, families and community groups. We offer catering for events, giving surplus food a second chance to reach the table.
