Shenyang Jianzhu University (the original Shenyang Architectural and Civil Engineering Institute) established in 1948 is the only one with its priority given to Civil Engineering and Architecture as well as multi-disciplinary education overlapping among engineering science, industry, literature, administration, nature science, agronomy and law in Liaoning Province. The university has 15 subordinate schools and 1560 faculty members. Current enrollment consists of nearly 18,000 degree candidates, including 12,000 undergraduates, 730 graduates as well as foreign students, and students enrolled in adult and professional schools. Shenyang Jianzhu University has set up sister relationships with more than 40 universities in 30 countries around the world.
