The Aref International Association “Rina & Franco Bellaterra” Onlus offers support to those persons with special needs, operating in the field of social research and training finalized towards the intervention in the sectors: • FAMILY: Support to people with rare, chronic, terminal and/or particularly disabling diseases from infants to the elderly • UNCOMMON ABILITIES: Support to people having physical, psychological or sensorial disabilities, during the different phases of their illness • LONG DISTANCE SUPPORT: Support to people, belonging to different cultures, who have economic, social and cultural difficulites, by means of: Long distance support of children, adolescents, grandparents, the ill, the disadvanteged, or discriminated people (political refugees, ethnic minorities, etc.); Support for initiatives and activities pertaining to the scholastic, health and building sectors; Developing initiatives aimed at producing jobs for the creation, development and self sustainment of business infrastructures; Scholastic and social diffusion and promotion respecting socio-cultural differences and integration. Membership is open to: Persons and their families who are directly involved; Researchers, supporters and promoters; Associations having the same finalities; Public and private bodies having the power to do so
