UTFR – University of Toronto Formula Racing is a student-run engineering design team that designs, builds, and races a new formula-style electric race car each year. The team is based at the University of Toronto's St. George campus; comprised of passionate undergraduate & graduate students from various faculties. With the generous support of the University and corporate sponsors, the team has won numerous awards, including three Formula Student Championship titles. Students develop valuable hands-on experience applying in-class knowledge to practical applications - gaining skills in engineering design, leadership, teamwork, and project management among others. In joining the team, students will have the opportunity to work with one or more of our sub-teams, which include: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, and Business.
