In October 2014, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1 - the first and oldest VFW Post in the world - established the Post 1 Foundation, whose mission is to build, support, and preserve veterans service programs and organizations. Post 1 Foundation cares deeply about empowering veterans in the arts, propelling them into meaningful and impactful careers, maintaining mental, physical and emotional wellness, and showcasing their amazing contributions to our community.
