Our company was established in 2003 and from the very beginning it was focused on the production of eyed rainbow trout eggs. We are the largest company in Poland and Central Europe producing fertilized salmonid eggs. We specialize in the production of premium quality all-female and triploid trout eggs available all year round. The dominant species in the production is the rainbow trout, but next to it we offer such species as brook trout, brown trout, and a cross between brook trout and arctic charr, dedicated to breeders struggling with viral diseases (IHN, VHS). The Dabie Hatchery is a key supplier of genetic material for the Polish fish industry and is an exporter of selectively bred trout eggs to over 40 countries. To supply our customers from abroad, we organize air freight and deliver eggs to many international airports. Each year, the company supplies the market with over 200 million eyed eggs. Our mission is to satisfy our customers by providing services of the highest quality. To provide our products all year round, we produce the eyed eggs every week in two highly specialized and modern fishing farms located in northern Poland. The zones around the farms belong to nature protection areas known as “Nature 2000”. Therefore, we place great emphasis on the best living conditions for fish while respecting the natural environment. Fish grown in our farms have a disease-free status. The team consists of highly qualified and dedicated employees who control the process of fish farming, spawning, fertilization, and incubation. The breeding technologies used are unique and innovative. The market requires disease-resistant and fast-growing fish, which is why the Dabie Hatchery is constantly investing in the genetics of its broodstocks.
