Plaini and Karahalios Architects was founded in 2011 and it is the product of the collaboration between Elisavet Plaini and John Karahalios. Elisavet Plaini studied at the University of East London and at the University of Westminster. John Karahalios studied at the National Technical University of Athens and got his master’s degree from Columbia University. The main volume of their work deals with private projects in various scales. Their concern focuses on the thin line of transition between private and public and the relationship of personal expression with urban impact. Their projects have been presented in printed and digital press around the world.
