Dr. Herbert J. Bell began his Optometric practice in 1935 in downtown Trenton, NJ. He moved his practice to the present location in Ewing in 1965. Dr. Bell provided professional eye care and developed a special personal rapport with his patients for almost 60 years. Dr. Herbert J. Bell passed away in March 2004, one week away from the age of 93. His daughter, Dr. Susan A. Bell, achieved her professional degree in Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She continued her education and became board certified in the management and treatment of ocular disease. Both Dr. Herbert and Dr. Susan attended continuing education courses in order to keep abreast of ever-changing technology in diagnosis and treatment of eye conditions. Dr. Susan is thankful to have had the opportunity to work side-by-side with her dad for many years and sincerely thanks all of their valued patients for their loyalty, continued patronage, and friendship.
