Energy Plantation Projects India Ltd (EPPI) is a company established to prove the concept of High Density Man-made Regenerative Forests with Fast Growing trees (3 to 4 years) to provide fuel for Biomass Energised Electrical Power Stations. This initiative of urban professionals proved the concept in 450 acres of dry lands with lakhs of trees near Madurai in Tamil Nadu. Use of the homegrown firewood for producing power was also proven in a 2 MW Power Station. With the intended concept proven and with the achievement of technology and ability to grow High Density Regenerative Energy Plantations, EPPI has now set its course on other initiatives including selling of its lands.
