Beep Studios started in 2004 as The Loft Studios, but became the commercial entity in 2007 when co-founder Kevin Foo shifted the studio out of his parents' home into the commercial facility that exists today in Telok Blangah. With the other co-founders (Joshua Wan, Irving Koh and Gevin Png), the studio business grew to include a portfolio of film scoring, jingle production as well as audio post production to complement their core business of producing and recording music acts. Beep has been the birthplace and/or woodshedding space for acts like Charlie Lim, Linying, The Steve McQueens, Evanturetime, The Sam Willows, Nathan Hartono, Gentle Bones, Nicco Homaili, The Fire Fight, Serenaide and many more. With the inclusion of 2 additional partners (Eugene Wong and Alastair Chin), Beep shifted its operations to a new space (codenamed Beep City) in Bukit Merah, making them the largest recording studio in Singapore for 2 years in 2012-2014. Beep moved back to their original location in Telok Blangah in 2015. Today, Beep continues to work with music acts and content creators, and runs a co-working space with Casual Media Pte Ltd to mentor, incubate and accelerate top quality new content from Singapore and beyond.
