Since opening its doors as an emergency homeless shelter in 1983, Lazarus House has been a faith-based ministry aiming to break the cycle of poverty in the Merrimack Valley. Our food and clothing programs give families the opportunity to stretch their dollars so they can afford rent, heat and utilities. Housing provides a safe haven for homeless families and individuals. Work preparation changes lives, enabling guests to become self-reliant. Open arms provide hope where there was once none.
