National Institute Of Technology, Surat (राष्ट्रीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान, सूरत) is one of the 31 National Institutes of Technology of India and was established in 1961 as a Regional Engineering College in Gujarat. In 2007 it was upgraded to the status of the National Institute of Technology and was declared as Institute of National Importance under the National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007. The T&P(Training and Placement) Cell of SVNIT Surat not only acts as a facilitator for training and placement but also works towards the overall development of the students. It operates under the guidance of the Training and Placement Officer in consultation. It primarily acts as a liaison between industry and institute. T&P Cell is well equipped with excellent infrastructure to support each stage of the placement processes.
