Initially, Urban Roots started out as a landscape design/build company in 2001. We installed landscapes both in the commercial and residential setting. We grew our own trees and bought products from our local and regional vendors. Over time we discovered that there was a shortage of high-quality plant material available throughout the season. We saw a need that was missing both locally and regionally in the nursery industry. We decided to fill that need and open a wholesale nursery in 2017. Our goal is to deliver products and services that put a premium on high standards of quality.
