ActionAid Myanmar (AAM) has been in existence in Myanmar since 2006. We work alongside people and partners; both local and international, to challenge the injustice and imbalance of power that keeps people poor. We do this by knitting together our work with local communities, national governments and international institutions and campaigns. We work with the poorest and most vulnerable people across Myanmar to help them claim their rights and shift the prevailing power dynamics in order to create more resistant people and communities.
