About PMJ Consulting: PMJ Consulting is led by Dr. Emily Prieto (she/her) and Dr. Joshua Moon-Johnson (he/him); collectively they have over 35 years of experience in diversity, equity, and social justice work in multiple fields. Their dynamic experience includes expertise broadly affecting many identities, but with a specific focus on race, ethnicity, LGBTQ+ identities, women, and undocumented/DACA communities. Dr. Prieto and Dr. Moon-Johnson first met in 2007 as they served at Northern Illinois University where they both were directors in the Diversity & Equity Community of Practice. They have since co-taught courses, conducted international research, and have regularly presented and published together over the last 12 years.
