Marlon Tate is an independent award-winning creative agency with offices in London, Athens, Jupiter and Mars. Described as sensitive, considered and essentially poetic, our work focuses on strategy and ideas driven branding and advertising. Founded in 2020 by Athenian art director and pop star Nikos Georgopoulos, Marlon Tate is best known for creating ideas driven visual identities and advertising campaigns for creative clients. In 2020, we branded Greece’s first coliving brand, ‘Ilior’, as an imaginary country and in 2021 we launched East Londons biggest urban regeneration project as a cultural moment, managing to attract the attention of a sceptical local community. We have also been creating advertising campaigns, websites, music videos and brand identities for Frieze Art Fair, Fashion Space Gallery, EMI Music and the World Architecture Festival. Marlon Tate rose into prominence when it was announced that Georgopoulos is collaborating with friend and famous photographer Polly Brown on a trilogy of sci-fi projects entitled ‘Time travel branding’. The first chapter of the trilogy premiered at the prestigious ATypI conference in New York and received positive reviews from critics and press, who praised Nikos’ ‘fictitious but briliant universe’.
