Project Pulse is a non-profit organization that seeks to connect motivated High School students with the world of Health Sciences. Through our Pulse Conference, we seek to educate students about every aspect of pursuing and experiencing career in the health care industry. At our conference, we have medical professionals, undergraduate and med school students, and other representatives who help educate students regarding this field. We also work with other progressive organizations with similar goals to help foster learning opportunities and provide students the essential tools to pursue a rewarding career in their chosen field. Surveys show that 50% of High School students say that they've considered a career in the health sciences. Out of these students, nearly three-quarters have unanswered questions. Our goal is to offer students, and their families an opportunity to clear misconceptions and gain valuable information about their career path while providing them with the advice and means to gain the skills necessary to be successful in their chosen field. We are Calgary based but have sister companies in major cities all across Canada.
