In the city of Ankara, Yenimahalle borough, Etlik district, a large health complex of 1.022.726 sqm total covered area 3724 bed Project is being constructed by Astaldi and Türkerler. There exists within that health complex, • A General Hospital of 694 beds, • An Oncology Hospital of 550 beds • Maternity and Gynaecology Hospital of 540 beds, • A Paediatrics Hospital of 508 beds, • An Orthopaedic and Neurology Hospital of 478 beds, • A Cardiology Hospital of 362 beds, • A Rehabilitation Hospital of 300 beds, • A Forensic Hospital of 100 beds, • A Burn and Iodine Treatment Centre of 34 beds and in addition to this, two heliports, a university, a commercial center and for the use of the patients’ accompanies. In the Health Campus that will comprise 100 Operation Theatres and 800 Polyclinic rooms, 30.000 patients will be treated daily. Trigeneration central, (combined energy system generating electricity, heating and cooling energy), high-tech installations such as Cyber Knife will take place and medical technologies and building Technologies will be implemented. The Health Campus will replace six hospitals presently operating in Ankara. The project will take for 42 months and it will be handed over to the Ministry of Health after 24 years of operation.
